Inmotion V5F

Particularly light and manoeuvrable, the Inmotion V5F is the ideal model for getting started with a unicycle.

What is the Inmotion V5F unicycle worth?

The strong point

If there are any aspects of the Inmotion V5F that need highlighting, it's its lightness, manoeuvrability and weight. In fact, this unicycle has a small-diameter wheel (14 inches) equivalent to 35.5 cm. This gives it stability and, above all, great manoeuvrability. Another very appreciable aspect is its weight, at just 12 kilos. By way of comparison, the V8F unicycle and the V11 monowheel, also in the Inmotion catalogue, weigh 15 and 27 kg respectively.

It's easy to store, thanks to its small size, and it's also easy to transport, whether on stairs, public transport or around town.

The V5F unicycle is powered by a 550 W brush motor that can reach speeds of up to 25 km/h and climb gradients of up to 18°C (32%). As a reminder, in order to be authorised to travel on public roads, EDPMs (Engins de Déplacement Personnel Motorisés) must be limited to 25 km/h. The 4 Ah, 72 V, 288 Wh battery gives the V5F a maximum range of 30 km. This range will obviously be influenced by your riding style, the type of road you take and the weight of your wheeler. Allow between 3 and 4 hours for a full charge. Finally, this electric monowheel is capable of carrying up to 10 times its own weight, i.e. 120 kg.

Product quality

With its red and blue LEDs on the side of its shell, the Inmotion V5F has a very modern look. What's more, as well as being an attractive feature, the glossy plastic shell also helps to protect the unicycle's internal components, especially in the event of falls or bumps to the wheel. On top of that, the unicycle meets the IP65 waterproofing standard, which means that the product is generally protected against dust, splashes and jets of water. While it can cross puddles without any problem, we would advise against submerging your wheel completely in water. The Inmotion electric unicycle has a powerful front LED light and a rear light that signals when the machine is braking. Handy for being seen and for seeing.

Driving experience

Even if it's not a top-of-the-range model, the V5F electric unicycle offers a comfortable driving experience. Firstly, it has an inflatable wheel for better shock absorption and grip. The ride is comfortable, smooth and fluid. Likewise, the high pedals and comfort cushions give the user plenty of freedom of movement and a pleasant ride.

Features, functions and accessories

The V5F offers good value for money in terms of features and performance. Good to know: this is a monohweel that can be easily dismantled. This makes it easier to maintain and care for the machine.

The Inmotion V5F comes with a range of features, including:

  1. A trolley for transporting your electric unicycle anywhere easily
  2. A built-in horn
  3. A Bluetooth connection (to connect to the Inmotion mobile application)
  4. An engine cut-off button that activates when the wheel is raised
  5. An inflation hatch
  6. A light that displays the current battery level

Why choose the Inmotion V5F unicycle?

The Inmotion V5F has all the makings of a monowheel that's quick and easy to get to grips with. Perfect for beginners or those looking for a city wheel, it's easy to handle and light (we're a long way from the 50 kg of the V13 Challenger), which makes it more than convincing.
