The Nosfet APEX electric unicycle targets a very specific market segment: riders who want the performance of a modern 150V wheel, but without the 40 to 50 kg weight of current behemoths like the Kingsong KS F22 or the Inmotion V14 Pro, for example.

Positioned as the direct evolution of the Nosfet Aero electric unicycle, the APEX promises more speed, more stability, and more versatility, while remaining one of the lightest suspension unicycles in its category.

The Nosfet APEX is Nosfet's direct response to a problem that has become critical in the world of electric unicycles: high-performance wheels have become enormous, heavy, and expensive, to the point of excluding a large portion of riders.

With the APEX, Nosfet isn't aiming to break speed records. The brand aims to create the best 150V wheel for everyday use. The APEX is neither an 80 km/h hyperwheel nor a small urban wheel. It occupies a much rarer niche: a compact, suspended, lightweight wheel capable of high speeds without becoming dangerous or unmanageable.

Nosfet starts with a simple observation: most riders don't ride at 70 km/h. They ride between 30 and 50 km/h, but they want:

  • a safety margin
  • stability
  • and above all, a wheel that doesn't weigh 45 kg

The APEX is directly derived from the Nosfet Aero, a wheel that had already made its mark on the market with its very low weight, hydraulic suspension, and exceptional handling.

The Nosfet Aero unicycle was too limited in speed and power for experienced riders. The new Nosfet APEX addresses this by significantly increasing motor power and switching to a 150V platform, while maintaining its lightweight design. The result? The Aeon isn't a new wheel, it's an evolution of the Aero. The Nosfet A APEX eon targets three very specific profiles:

  1. Fast commuters. These are riders who ride every day in the city or suburbs and want to overtake cars while maintaining a power reserve, and avoid having to carry a 40 kg wheel up or down stairs to or from work.
  2. Intermediate and advanced riders, who have outgrown smaller wheels but don't want 80 km/h monsters and the associated mechanical and thermal stress.
  3. Heavier riders who want control.
  4. Thanks to its stability, suspension, and high tension, the APEX is much more reassuring than the Aero for riders weighing over 80 kg.

The Nosfet APEX is a self-balancing unicycle designed around a clear objective: to achieve the best power-to-weight ratio on the market in the 150V category. It doesn't aim to break speed records, but rather to offer a huge power reserve in a compact format. This is what makes it radically different from its large competitors.

The APEX uses a 2,200W nominal motor with a peak power of 8,000W, powered by a 151-volt architecture. It falls into the same electric category as high-end large unicycles, but in a frame that is almost 30% lighter. Why is this important? Simply because, in the case of a self-balancing unicycle, voltage is more important than the advertised wattage:

  • The higher the voltage, the more torque the wheel retains at high speeds
  • The less it loses power as the battery depletes
  • The more stable and predictable the ride

The onboard battery is 1300 Wh, composed of Samsung 50S cells—among the best high-discharge cells on the market. It therefore provides a real-world range of 40 to 55 km depending on the rider's weight and speed, with charging possible up to 10 A (with fast charging using the appropriate charger). This choice was deliberate: Nosfet opted for a smaller but lighter battery to preserve agility and portability.

The theoretical maximum speed when unloaded is 93 km/h. In real-world conditions, a rider can reach approximately 65–70 km/h on a full battery, resulting in a safe operating speed of around 45–50 km/h. This is exactly the sweet spot for riding in city traffic without being close to the battery cut-out.

The Nosfet APEX weighs approximately 29 kg ready to ride. For comparison, most 150V wheels weigh between 38 and 45 kg, and some exceed 50 kg. The weight of the Nosfet APEX makes all the difference, and it's one of its main advantages. Carrying it becomes easier, the wheel gains maneuverability, the rider is less fatigued, and has more control.

The APEX features the same bidirectional hydraulic suspension as the Aero, with increased travel and independent compression/rebound adjustment. This makes the Nosfet APEX suspension feel similar to that of a high-end mountain bike! Nosfet's hydraulic suspension is one of the best on the market in this category. It absorbs potholes, curbs, cobblestones… all without bouncing or trampoline-like vibrations. This is a major advantage for the Nosfet Aero: control, even under hard braking or sudden acceleration, the wheel remains firmly planted on the ground.

It uses a 16-inch wheel (12” rim) with different types of tires: off-road, hybrid, or road (depending on the version chosen).

The numbers don't tell the whole story. What truly distinguishes the Nosfet APEX is its ride. And on this point, it's very different from large, heavy electric unicycles. From the very first meters, the APEX gives a rare impression in its category: it's powerful, yet light. Thanks to its low weight and high tension, acceleration is instantaneous, and the wheel reacts without inertia. You get the feeling of riding something much smaller than the specs suggest. Unlike 40 kg wheels that require anticipation, the APEX is ridden with body control, almost like a freestyle wheel, but with the power reserve of a machine. modern.

The APEX corrects the biggest flaw of the Aero, which quickly becomes twitchy above 30/35 km/h. The combination of a slightly larger wheel, 150V voltage, and longer suspension provides significantly improved stability. You can ride at 45–50 km/h without struggling with the wheel, without wobble, and without feeling like you're on the edge of a precipice. This is exactly the speed range used by 90% of urban riders.

Thus, in the city, the APEX is simply perfect. It's fast enough to keep up with traffic, compact enough to weave through gaps, and light enough to carry on the subway or up stairs. On roads and trails, with the right tire, the torque is sufficient, the suspension filters well, and the wheel remains agile where larger, more powerful wheels become cumbersome.

What riders love about the Nosfet APEX

  1. The power-to-weight ratio: This is the most frequently cited point. Users often come from 35–45 kg wheels and rediscover a feeling they had forgotten: freedom of movement. The Nosfet APEX unicycle allows for quick changes of direction, crisp braking, and strong acceleration.
  2. The suspension: It is often favorably compared to that of much more expensive wheels. For everyday use, it provides real physical comfort.
