A battery is an electrochemical device that stores energy in chemical form. When required, this energy is converted into electrical energy and supplied to devices such as electronic appliances, electric vehicles or other equipment. Batteries are made up of electrodes immersed in an electrolyte, and store and release electrical energy for portable and convenient use.

A battery contains a specific number of charges. It is therefore normal for the battery to wear out, resulting in reduced performance, both in terms of autonomy and power. In addition, if the product is not charged regularly, the battery may become unsafe and need to be replaced.
