In just under a month we'll be celebrating the (coronation of) spring! Spring, as a reminder, is one of the four seasons of the year, situated between winter and summer. It's the opposite of autumn. It's a period of transition when temperatures start to warm up after the cold winter months. Spring is associated with the rebirth of nature, characterised by the budding of flowers, the greening of trees and the birth of many animal species. I admit, it's a bit hard to tell the difference at the moment. Except in the north, where it's raining a little more than usual.

Why are we talking about this? Quite simply because it's time to think about it and get ready for spring and the rides that go with it, whether on a gyroroue or an electric scooter!

First of all: the battery. An essential part of the product, it should be fully charged to 100%, with the right charger. If it doesn't charge fully, this could be due to natural wear and tear. But if it doesn't charge at all, you'll need to take stock of the situation

Another essential element is the tyre: whether it's the tyre or the inner tube, an inspection is necessary. We might add that this is an essential element, to be checked before each use. If your product is a scooter then you'll also need to check the brakes, including pads, and adjust them if necessary. Don't forget to adjust the tyre pressure, using a compressor.

Finally, don't forget to tighten all the screws! That's right, because vibrations can cause screws to loosen as you use them. And one last thing, check that your scooter or gyrorou is still fully insured, because it's o-bli-ga-tory!

If you liked this article, stay tuned: we're preparing a special page for you about the regular maintenance of your electric scooter or gyrorou! Yep, it's like anything else, regular maintenance of your product will bring increased longevity and increased safety...
